Vein Treatments
Are your varicose veins causing you pain and stopping you from wearing what you want?
If you suffer from varicose veins, you know that in addition to being unattractive, troublesome veins can cause annoying symptoms. You can eliminate these with a simple, state-of-the-art laser treatment for varicose veins.
Endovenous Laser Ablation
This procedure involves placing a state-of-the-art laser catheter inside the abnormal vein which produces thermal energy that ablates the vein thereby effectively removing the vein from the venous circulation. The blood is then diverted into other, healthy veins. It is performed in the office setting under local anesthesia. It is safe and well tolerated with a low incidence of complications. There is no down time and patients may return to normal activities immediately following the procedure.
Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy
In this procedure, ultrasound is employed initially to locate abnormal veins. Once identified, the vein is injected directly with a sclerosing agent which chemically ablates the vein thereby effectively removing it from the venous circulation. It is safe, effective and also performed in the office setting.
Visual Sclerotherapy
In this procedure, small diseased veins which are visually identifiable are directly injected with a sclerosing agent which chemically ablates the vein. This results in the gradual disappearance of the vein. It also is a safe, effective procedure which is performed in the office setting.
Ambulatory Phlebectomy
This is a surgical procedure designed to allow outpatient removal of bulging varicose veins. Under local anesthesia the veins are extracted through very small incisions made in the skin along the length of the vein. It is safe, effective and very well tolerated. It is also performed in the office setting.
